What is ALR?
ALR is a member-based association that provides educational information to its members and access for its members to a number of lifestyle
benefits, discounted benefits. For as little as $15 per month, our members receive discounts on
pre-paid legal services, car rentals, vacation packages (including medical tourism), vision products and services, dental services, and supplemental healthcare programs..
Is ALR a health insurance company?
ALR is not a health insurance company. ALR is a membership organization that provides educational information to its members and provides
access for its members to a number of lifestyle benefits, discount benefits .
What types of discounts do you offer?
Our members receive discounts on a wide-range of services and products, i.e., entertainment, travel, dining, fitness, legal help, theme parks, etc.
How do I obtain my discounts?
After signing up as a member, you will receive a member packet with information on how to take advantage of discounts.
What is the billing cycle?
New members will be billed on the first Tuesday that occurs after signing up for membership. Monthly payments, via automated withdrawal of funds (ACH), will occur during the same week as the first billing each month thereafter.
Credit card payments take place on the 25th of each month after the first payment is made.
Who is my insurance carrier?
ALR members are placed with many top-rated insurance carriers. Who your carrier is depends on where you are located; it will not be the same carrier for everyone.
What doctors can I see?
You can see any provider/doctor of your choice, however the program utilizes networks to obtain the greatest discounts for its members. If no networkis available in your particular area, we will negotiate a discount on your behalf in order to get you the maximum savings as well. Our members benefit from our expertise in negotiating discounts.
What is the cancellation policy?
There is no annual contract; members can cancel at any time. Cancellation requests must be in writing and sent to the following address:

What will happen if the provider/doctor’s office does not accept my medical ID card?
If the provider does not accept the plan at the time of the visit, ALR will reinburse you up to the plans limits. In the event that a provider/doctor’s office does not accept your medical ID card, you will have to pay at the time of service and we will reimburse you. |
